The Jeep Forward Control (FC) truck was produced by Willys Motors, and later Kaiser Jeep, from 1956 to 1965. The FC was also assembled under license in other international markets, such as India and Spain. The truck’s distinctive design featured a cab over (forward control) layout.

These Forward Control models were primarily marketed as work vehicles for corporate, municipal, and military purpose, though the civilian market also enjoyed the truck. Standard box pickup beds were the norm for base models, but customers were offered many specialized bodies from aftermarket suppliers. These aftermarket kits transformed the FC pickups from simple flatbeds to complete tow trucks, dump trucks, and fire trucks. Before discontinuing the model in 1964, Jeep manufactured around 31,000 FC series trucks.
